- Housing is not guaranteed.
- A campus housing rental agreement lasts through the end of the academic year (June). If you leave your housing before the end of the agreement, you may be subject to a cancellation fee. Rental agreements in the community may last through August 31, and may not allow for cancellation. Check all terms and conditions before making a commitment.
- If you apply for more than one housing option, accept only one. You will be financially responsible for all agreements you accept.

Contact the academic advisor in your host department or college/school. There is no need to wait until your R'Web enrollment period. Academic advisors will assist you with early enrollment, whenever possible.

Graduate Students
Graduate students usually register after consultation with the departmental graduate advisor. Check with your host department for registration advising.

Fees
- Student Technology Course Materials Fee (CMF): $7 per unit for undergraduates and $2 per unit for graduates will be billed to your student account. The fee is non-refundable after the third week of instruction.
- International Student Orientation Fee: $40 (subject to change) will be billed to your student account; orientation includes refreshments.
- R'Card (ID card): $36 will be billed to your student account.
- UCSA (UC Student Association) fee: $7; this fee is not mandatory, and you may opt-out (choose to not participate) before the deadline.
- Opt-out deadline: prior to the end of the second week of the term

Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP)
You will automatically be enrolled in your host university health insurance plan. No action is required.
- Undergraduates: $793.79 per quarter
- Graduates: $1793.55 per quarter

Waiving Ship
To waive SHIP, you must apply for waiver by submitting documentation of comparable health insurance. Waiver must be approved by your host UC.

- Spring: March 12, 2025
Note: $50 fee for waiver applications submitted after the deadline through the first day of instruction.
